The Afternoon Workshop at Granja Natura is the perfect activity to complement your visit to the center. Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday, from 15:00 to 16:15, you'll live one of the most special experiences at Granja Natura. Both children and adults can take part in our daily birds of prey flight and fly a Harris's hawk and a barn owl yourselves alongside our keepers, sharing a very special and close experience with our birds.
You'll then discover the most "secret" animals of the center in an exclusive hands-on session with reptiles, invertebrates and other surprising species, while learning their importance within ecosystems. The hands-on animals change depending on the season to always ensure their welfare and respect the needs of each species.
To take part in the afternoon workshop, advance booking is required. It is an independent activity, different from the morning guided visit, though we recommend it as a complement.

This activity includes only the afternoon workshop with the birds of prey flight and the hands-on session with secret animals.
It does not include the morning guided visit or allow free access to the center's facilities. Access to the animal grounds takes place exclusively during the guided visit and always accompanied by our monitors.
Complementary services
If you come to the afternoon activity, you can arrive earlier and enjoy our picnic and barbecue area for a relaxed meal before the workshop starts.
We also have a bar service with drinks, coffee and ice cream to enjoy the afternoon at Granja Natura. We don't offer food service, so please bring your own from home.
