Behind Granja Natura there is a small but passionate team of professionals and volunteers who share a common goal: bringing nature closer to people and ensuring the welfare of our animals. Each team member contributes their experience, dedication and love for animals to make every visit special and educational.
Management and foundation
The person who founded and runs Granja Natura is the soul of the project. With years of experience in environmental education and animal care, they transformed the initial idea of taking in rescued animals into the leading educational center it is today. They handle strategic planning, institutional relations and the long-term vision of the project.
Head of monitors
Responsible for coordinating the monitor team and designing educational activities and guided tours. With training in biology and environmental education, they ensure every activity is educational, safe and fun. Their passion for science communication comes through in every explanation about the animals and their environment.
Veterinary care
The welfare of our more than 30 species is the absolute priority. The person responsible for veterinary care oversees the feeding, health and living conditions of all animals. They work in coordination with specialized external veterinarians and are in charge of animal welfare protocols, regular check-ups and emergency care.
Educational coordination
Develops pedagogical programs for schools and groups, creating teaching materials adapted to each educational cycle. Maintains contact with schools in the region, designs workshops for the environmental education classroom and ensures content is aligned with the school curriculum. Their educational vocation is key to conveying values of respect and conservation.
Volunteer coordination
Manages the volunteer program, from recruiting and training new volunteers to organizing weekly tasks. Works closely with partner organizations such as Ampans and Libertempo to offer inclusive volunteering opportunities. Their energy and organizational skills ensure every volunteer feels valued and an essential part of the project.
